About The Position

Waverly Heights is currently seeking a part-time Bartender to join our team. Our Bartenders play a vital role in our commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience, while creating a warm and welcoming environment to all members of our community.

Requirements

• Knowledge of point of sale system
• Ability to check identification of customers to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol purchase.
• Ability to determine when a customer has had too much alcohol.
• Ability to arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
• Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Ability to perform opening and closing side work.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members and guests beverages in an efficient, professional and timely manner.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Pour wine and beer.
• Knowledge of point of sale system to accurate collect payment for services rendered.
• Check identification of customers to make sure the meet minimum age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Determine when a customer has had too much alcohol.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Perform opening and closing side work as assigned.
