About The Position

The Bartender crafts and serves beverages while providing a welcoming, attentive guest experience. The role includes responsible alcohol service in accordance with liquor laws and company policies; maintaining, cleaning, and restocking the bar; preparing garnishes; completing opening and closing duties; handling cash and reporting tips accurately; and following sanitation and food safety standards. This is a part-time position at the San Marcos Embassy Suites in San Marcos, Texas. The listed compensation is $8.30; actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

Requirements

At least 6 months of bartending experience; hospitality experience is preferred.
Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications, or willingness to complete them within 60 days.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the duration of the shift.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Friendly, energetic personality and strong professionalism.
