About The Position

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago North Shore Deerfield is currently looking to hire a Bartender. This role is responsible for preparing and providing food and beverages, beer, wine, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The ideal candidate will greet, engage, and serve guests seated at the bar, clear and clean tables, and maintain a clean and well-stocked bar area.

Requirements

• Must have a current food handlers permit.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous restaurant service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and providing food and beverages, beer, wine, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Pouring and serving beer and wine.
• Following safe food handling and service practices at all times.
• Greeting, engaging, and serving guests seated at the bar.
• Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated.
• Wiping up spills.
• Keeping the bar area cleaned and well stocked.
• Restocking items consistently throughout shift.
• Assisting server and other Front of House staff with beverage orders.
• Listening and responding to guests' requests and complaints.
