About The Position

The Flying Otter Grill is seeking passionate bartenders to join its amazing team! The ideal candidate will have experience working in a bar or restaurant environment, making beverages and creating unique experiences for our guests. Requirements

• Serving It Right Certificate required
• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience required
• Knowledge of basic cocktails and BC wines
• Highly organized with good cost control and cash handling skills
• Personable and upbeat
• Proven ability to be an effective member of a team and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Previous serving experience is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant guests
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Provide service to a higher level and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Process bills and take payment
• Other duties as required
