About The Position

The Wilkinson Firm is seeking a part-time Bartender to join their team in Charlotte, NC. This role involves running banquet bars, hosted bars, and cash bars at various events such as hotels, galas, weddings, and corporate events. Responsibilities include setup, pouring drinks to specification, responsible service, and managing cash/card sales and close-outs. The position is part of The Wilkinson Firm's expansion in the Charlotte market, covering uptown hotels, the convention district, University City, and regional clubs and venues.

Requirements

• 1 or more years bartending in a hotel, banquet, restaurant or high-volume setting
• Black professional pants or slacks, black closed-toe non-slip shoes, professional grooming and appearance
• Reliable transportation and a working smartphone
• Eligible to work in the United States (I-9 and E-Verify)
• Responsible alcohol service certification current or obtainable before your first bar shift

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet and portable bars
• Pour to spec and keep the bar presentable through service
• Handle cash and card sales and reconcile counts
• Serve responsibly and refuse service when required
