Building on the success of the original West Hollywood location, San Vicente is expanding with two new locations in Santa Monica and the West Village in New York City. The bartender prepares alcoholic beverages and nonalcoholic beverages to the guests in a timely fashion.
Requirements
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- Must be able to follow directions with focus to detail
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision
- Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of the job- carry/push cart with beverage heavy trays from time to time. (40lb)
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- At least three years in high volume, upscale restaurant or hotel
- Must possess current Serve Safe Food Handler Card and ABC card
Responsibilities
- Set up the mise en place for the featured cocktails
- Ensure bar is stocked up
- Inform manager when items run low
- Promptly greet guests as they are seated at the bar
- Clear bar area after guests leave, take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing
- Respond immediately and appropriately to guest requests
- Communicate with server, host and Maitre’ D to assure efficient seating, table utilization and guest service
- Thank guests as they are leaving
- Maintain a high level of personal cleanliness and immaculate uniform presentation
- Be a team player; help out fellow staff whenever possible
