The Bartender position pays $12.00/hr + tips + 5% of alcohol sales. This role is responsible for completing all side work and stocking of the bar per standard. The Bartender serves beverages in the bar and for restaurant guests as needed, providing efficient and courteous service. They also take bar food orders, relay them to the kitchen and servers, and manage the cash drawer by accurately counting down the bank for each shift and completing daily cash reports. Maintaining a neat bar, stocked beer cooler, filled ice bins, replenished bar snacks, clean and stored glasses, and stocked fruit for garnish are key duties. The role also involves checking IDs for alcohol sales, attending scheduled training classes, and assisting with telephone coverage, to-go orders, reservations, and other service tasks as needed. The Bartender may also assist with banquet functions.
