About The Position

The part-time Bartender is responsible for providing friendly, professional beverage service at weddings, parties, and other celebrations. This role focuses on creating a welcoming environment while delivering excellent customer service and preparing high-quality drinks. Events primarily occur on evenings and weekends, with shifts typically lasting 4–6 hours depending on event size and duration.

Requirements

Prior bartending experience, preferably in event or banquet settings.
Minimum age of 21.
ATC-approved license required or willingness to obtain one.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and stay organized during busy events.
Knowledge of local alcohol service laws and safety protocols.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight.
Flexible availability for evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced environment.
Manage bar inventory and complete bar setup prior to each event.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout the event.
Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and outgoing attitude.
Verify identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
Accurately handle cash, credit card, or drink ticket transactions.
Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service.
Collaborate with event planners, catering teams, and venue staff for a seamless guest experience.
Follow all health and safety guidelines related to beverage service and sanitation.
