About The Position

Friendship Village is seeking a part-time bartender who is passionate about building relationships with residents and providing excellent customer service. This role involves serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, managing bar inventory and supplies, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and adhering to all liquor laws. The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment. This position may also involve assisting the Dining team with serving and other duties. Friendship Village is a faith-based, non-profit retirement community dedicated to providing compassionate care and seeking high-quality employees.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including criminal background checks, abuse registry check, drug test, physical, flu vaccination, and TB test.

Nice To Haves

Previous bartending experience preferred.

Ability to work in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including beer and wine.
Assisting with maintaining bar inventory and supplies.
Ensuring the bar is kept clean and adheres to quality and safety standards.
Adhering to all local, state, and federal liquor laws.
Building relationships with residents.
Assisting with serving and other duties within the Dining team as needed.
