About The Position

Responsible for the beverage service to Guests, Cocktailers and/or Food Servers in an assigned outlet ensuring efficient and prompt service for guests. This is a full-time, day shift position with flexible hours.

Requirements

• Previous Bartending experience of one year.
• Alcohol Awareness Training within 2 months.
• Trustworthy and collaborative relationships with others.
• Organized and flexible to meet the needs of the business, guests and associates.
• Exhibit the values of the company culture; honesty, humility, truth, wisdom, love, respect, and bravery.
• Begin work on time for their scheduled shifts, schedule PTO in advance and exhibits flexibility in scheduling or supporting other Associates by assuming shifts from other team members or Department demands.
• Accomplishes required work within expected guidelines.
• Flexibility to work various roles and outlets.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and serving alcoholic beverages and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
• Mixing and serving beverages in a service station capacity to Beverage Servers in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Receiving, issuing and keeping necessary records of liquor store and supplies.
• Balancing sales in compliance with the Cash Handling and Over/Short Policy.
• Maintaining a neat and clean bar station on a continual basis.
• Understanding the Dram Shop Act and Bartenders’ responsibilities and rights under it.
• Understanding all beverage regulations.
• Participating as a team member with all Cocktailers, Casino Utilities, Servers, and Supervisors and any pertinent Grand Casino’s Associates to ensure efficient operational standards.
• Working in Outlets as needed.
