About The Position

The Bartender position is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, providing friendly and efficient service, processing orders and payments, and maintaining a clean bar area. This role requires adherence to all responsible alcohol service, health, safety, and sanitation standards. The job is located on-site at the King Center for the Performing Arts in Melbourne, FL.

Requirements

• Ability to take directions and effectively perform the work
• Sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money
• Basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures
• Pleasant personality and a neat appearance
• Ability to stand for the duration of shift
• Ability to carry and lift, according to industry standards
• Positive, customer service-oriented attitude at all times
• Strong knowledge of sanitary practices
• Work ethics encourage strong urgency and quality in a team environment
• Attention to detail

• Restaurant experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences

• Process guest orders and payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar area, including glassware, garnishes, and supplies
• Follow all responsible alcohol service, health, safety, and sanitation standards
