Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with experience working in the Food and Beverage industry
Flexibly in schedule as it will change often
Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
Strong interpersonal communication skills
In compliance with state liquor laws, must be at least 18 years of age.
Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)

Responsibilities

Maintain thorough menu knowledge
Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails or other drinks.
Serves wine from the bar and tableside when needed and bottled or draft beer.
Serve food from kitchen to guests in an efficient manner
Communicate with serving staff and kitchen staff to ensure accuracy of orders
Communicate directly with chef/expeditor to insure proper timing of service
Be knowledgeable in food product, and food preparations. Understand what the kitchen is serving and ensure all food is properly served at the tables
Know the table numbers and pivot points for all areas of the restaurant
Inspect orders for accuracy prior to serving. Bring any concerns to the attention of the Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef immediately
Be able to answer questions guests might have regarding food and beverages being served
Assist team by helping pre-bus, carry dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen, replace soiled table linens and set tables with silverware and glassware
Replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in dining room
Serve water, bread and butter, and other beverages as required
Break down and reset restaurant in accordance with side work including folding linens for staff and guests
Assist Servers in any other duties as needed prior to, during, and after service
Maintain courteous, professional, and polite attitude with all other service and kitchen staff
Report tips in accordance with IRS regulations
Maintain knowledge of Broadmoor history, grounds, restaurants, and retail outlets
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Other duties as assigned
