About The Position
Glen Kernan Club is looking for friendly, energetic Bartenders to join our Food & Beverage team! If you enjoy creating great experiences, connecting with members and guests, and working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to have you join us. As a Bartender, you’ll provide friendly, attentive service while preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming bar, and creating a memorable experience for our members and guests. Glen Kernan Club is entering an exciting new chapter with a newly redesigned golf course, stunning clubhouse, and resort-style athletic park. Requirements
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
- Plan and present bar menu.
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
