About The Position

Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as ordered and to dispense them in a prompt, friendly and professional manner to cocktail wait persons and guest at the bar.

Requirements

  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate (verbal and written) in English with guests, co-workers, and management.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Active Food Handlers Card and RBS Certification

Responsibilities

  • Requisition all supplies as needed.
  • Prepare garnishes as prescribed; limes, lemons, etc.
  • Ensure adequate supply of clean glassware.
  • Wipe down liquor bottles to maintain cleanliness.
  • Ring up bar tabs for cocktail wait staff.
  • Assure that all drinks are served are recorded promptly on NCR.
  • Brew and maintain adequate supplies of fresh coffee and cappuccino.
  • Take guest orders at bar.
  • Settle all transactions on each round of drinks.
  • Offer menus when requested.
  • Assure that TABC labels are visible and intact.
  • Demonstrate alcohol awareness – knowing when to stop serving a customer.
  • Shall request identification when legal age is in question.
