About The Position

Located in downtown Tulsa, The Tavern is a modern neighborhood pub featuring world class wines, artisan beer, and upscale tavern cuisine! We are passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences through quality ingredients, and warm hospitality.

Requirements

Previous bartending experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wines, and spirits.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
A positive, energetic attitude and a passion for the hospitality industry.
Must have an ABLE license, alcohol safety training, and THD food handler permit.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must have AM and PM weekend availability.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, wines, and Italian spirits.
Provide recommendations to guests on drink pairings, cocktails, and the restaurant’s wine list.
Maintain a clean, organized bar area, including stocking supplies and ensuring the bar is always prepared for service.
Monitor guests' alcohol consumption and serve responsibly.
Handle cash, credit card, and other payments, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
Engage with customers in a friendly, positive manner to enhance their experience.
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
Ensure all local and state alcohol laws and regulations are followed.
