This role prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Requirements

  • Must be able to adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Must be able to set up assigned bars; requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
  • Must be able to maintain stock, prepare, cure and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
  • Must be able to greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
  • Must be able to take and/or process orders for drinks; mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practice prudent portion control.
  • Must be able to check guests at the bar for proper identification.
  • Must be able to detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained. Must demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
  • Must be able to receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed.
  • Must be able to lock up and store all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops; secure bank.
  • Must be able to perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keep work area clean and organized.
  • Must be able to arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
  • Must be able to wash and sterilize stemware.
  • Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
