About The Position
We are looking for a personable and energetic Bartender to join our team at George’s Bar & Spritz. This role is centered around crafting high-quality cocktails and spritzes, providing attentive and engaging service, and creating a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys guest interaction, and can balance service with light operational responsibilities. About George’s George’s Bar & Spritz is a porch bar located at the Curry Mansion Inn, inspired by the Amalfi Coast. It offers a curated cocktail and spritz menu in a laid-back, social setting, serving both guests of the inn and the public.
Requirements
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience required.
- Strong guest service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort using technology and iPad-based applications.
- Availability for assigned shifts, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift and restock supplies up to 25 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, spritzes, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to George’s standards.
- Provide friendly, attentive service while engaging with guests and fostering a welcoming porch atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and porch seating area throughout service.
- Restock bar inventory, glassware, and garnishes as needed.
- Complete light opening, mid-shift, or closing duties to support smooth daily operations.
- Use iPad-based platforms (Guesty, Breezeway, and PointCentral) to complete unit or area checks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless guest experience during peak and slower periods.
