About The Position
For weary travelers, you're more than a bartender. You're a friendly face at the end of a long flight or stressful day. In addition to expertly mixing cocktails and service up ice-cold drafts, you are an ultra-friendly ambassador for the hotel. Sure, you will be preparing drinks, taking orders, and serving plates of deliciousness. But more than that, you'll take your food and beverage expertise and mix thoroughly with your knowledge of the city to give our guests an unforgettable experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous bartending experience.
- Current food handler permit.
- Current liquor permit.
- Ability to think on your feet.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
Nice To Haves
- Background working in environments requiring quick thinking and calm under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and promote a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions.
- Prepare creative and tasty drinks.
- Chat with guests when appropriate and know when to be unobtrusive.
- Serve snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar.
