About The Position

Contribute in daily bar and clubhouse operations, provide drinks and hospitality, and offer assistance to co-workers and members.

Requirements

• Minimum of eighth grade education, high school diploma preferred.
• None required, but previous Bar Assistance experience at the Club House preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Ability to lift heavy cases of liquor or beer and go up and down stairs.
• Extended periods of time standing and walking.
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach to gain access to supplies and beverages in coolers and to wash glasses.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to remember and mix a variety of drinks.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be able to manage time wisely and productively.
• Some exposure to chemicals for cleaning the bar, glasses and coolers.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Bar Assistance experience at the Club House preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drink orders for servers and provide drinks directly to members at various bar locations.
• Keep the bar stocked by directing Bar Assistants or stocking by themselves.
• Put out snack tray daily.
• Keeps a running POS tab on members for bar sales.
• Sets up the bar daily by cutting citrus, carrying ice and directing Bar Assistants.
• Keep the bar organized and up to visual standards of members.
• Stays proactive by following the cleaning schedule.
• Opens and stocks any remote bars for the day.
• Provides input on everyday happenings, special events and inventory.
• Answers the phone and takes reservations as needed for the Clubhouse in a courteous and helpful manner.
• Interacts in a positive and cooperative manner with Club members, guests, co-workers and Managers.
• Portrays a positive image for the Club by dressing appropriately and in proper attire for the position.
• Maintains a safe work environment for self and others. Attends mandatory safety training sessions and adheres to Club and OSHA safety requirements.
• Ensures confidentiality of all Club members and employee information and records.
• Maintains appropriate levels in the area of daily attendance, initiative and productivity.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.
