About The Position
Lifespace Communities is seeking a part-time Bartender to join their Culinary team at Friendship Village of Bloomington. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, engaging with residents and guests, processing transactions accurately, and managing bar inventory and supplies. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- Associates degree preferred.
- Two to three years of experience as bartender in a hotel or restaurant preferred.
- Certification as a bartender preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve bar beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Provide resident and guest engagement.
- Achieve accurate transactions in the point of sales system.
- Administer proper storing techniques for beverages, supplies, equipment, and inventory.
- Organize bar, maintain inventory par levels, track inventory and supplies needed for operation.
