About The Position

We are looking for a Bartender to join the re-opening of the famed Delano Miami Beach. Set to open its doors in early 2026, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand’s flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality. Ennismore, in partnership with Cain International (the owners of Delano Miami Beach as well as partner in the Delano brand), are currently undertaking a significant renovation and redevelopment of the iconic Delano hotel. Under the general guidance of the Assistant Bar Manager, the Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests. This role involves maintaining a clean and organized bar area, ensuring the quality and consistency of drinks, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience.

Requirements

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
Ability to operate a POS system and cash register.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work closely with other team members.
Ability to handle customer complaints professionally.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a Bartender in a hotel or high-volume establishment.
Knowledge of a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Experience in creating and suggesting drink specials.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to drink recipes and customer preferences.
Garnish drinks to enhance presentation and flavor.
Take beverage orders from patrons, process food orders, and coordinate with the wait staff to ensure smooth service.
Create and suggest specials from the drink menu to boost sales and enhance the customer experience.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, ensuring all glassware is clean and ready for use.
Maintain and manage bar inventory, restocking items as needed throughout the shift.
Operate the POS (point-of-sale) system and cash register for processing payments quickly and accurately.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including completing inventory checks and cleaning tasks.
Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe work environment for both staff and patrons.
Ensure customers meet the legal drinking age by checking IDs before serving alcohol.
Handle customer complaints or issues promptly, maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor.
Work closely with other team members, including the barback and wait staff, to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive teamwork dynamic.
Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Provide lateral service as needed in the hospitality industry.
Perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.
