About The Position

The EVEN Hotel is looking for a Bartender to work from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This position offers a flexible schedule, with weekend availability required. It's a great opportunity for students or anyone looking to earn extra income.

Requirements

Ability to serve beverages, perform food prep, and prepare limited food menu.
Ability to maintain bar set-up and stock.
Ability to cut and store garnishes and perishables.
Ability to greet guests and take orders.
Ability to mix, garnish, and present drinks.
Knowledge of serving alcoholic beverages according to regulations.
Ability to use a point-of-sale register.
Ability to handle cash transactions and balance moneys.
Ability to secure bar and bank at end of shift.

Responsibilities

Serve beverages, perform some food preparation, and prepare a limited food menu for guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.
Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily, including requisitioning and stocking liquor, paper products, condiments, and produce based on daily projections.
Maintain stock levels.
Cut and store all fresh fruit/vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily.
Greet guests courteously and friendly, promote and document orders for drinks.
Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
Input all orders into a point-of-sale register and create a check for each guest.
Receive cash from guests, make change, verify charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed to balance all moneys.
Lock up and store all beverage, food, and other equipment, deposit cash drops, and secure the bank.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
