Requirements

  • Outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Understanding of drink mixology and recipes.
  • Enjoy hosting others.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
  • Able to promptly and accurately follow instructions given by Supervisor or Manager.
  • Must qualify for licensing by Ohio Lottery Commission.
  • Able to work as a team and have a guest-first attitude.
  • Able to tolerate a high stimulus environment.
  • Able to work at a very fast pace.
  • Able to pass a background check.
  • Open availability including all three shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • One-year cumulative experience as a bartender, bar back or server or have completed bartending school and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Be able to make quick, reasonable decisions regarding patron and team member interactions.
  • Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Fostering a fun environment.
  • Being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers.
  • Promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events.
  • Ensuring interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the ACES Service Program.
  • Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening as needed according to company policy and T.I.P.S training.
  • Promoting gaming events and promotions.
  • Processing cash and credit card transactions for guests while maintaining the integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
  • Preparing and pouring drinks with proper measured portions, following proper building steps, and ingredients according to recipe and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Preparing and maintaining par levels on garnishes, various ice, mixers and fresh fruit and herbs.
  • Maintaining a clean, sanitized and stocked workstation and or section.
  • Complying with state, company, and department policies and regulations.
  • Making servers drinks when rang in.
  • Serving tables, clearing tables, expediting food and running food.
  • Side-work as directed by the Food and Beverage Supervisor or Manager.
  • Working special events, as needed.
