About The Position

As a valuable member of the Real Sports (RS) team, you will deliver winning food and beverage service to our guests at all times by living our Vision and Values. This role involves delivering responsible and friendly beverage service, strictly ensuring responsible alcohol service using Smart Serve principles, and adhering to AGCO and MLSE policies & regulations. You will provide friendly and informed responses to inquiries, monitor inventory, and prepare the bar for service. Additionally, you will act as an ambassador for RS, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, and our community, and perform other administrative or service functions as needed. You will also follow all MLSE Health & Safety policies and procedures and work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

Requirements

Smart Serve certification required
Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as the need arises
Must be comfortable refusing service to guests if necessary
A winning attitude
Sophisticated knowledge of spirits, wine and bar equipment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to pay close attention to detail & calculate order totals manually

Nice To Haves

Bartender Certificate from a reputable Bartending School with practical on-site training is not required but is an asset.
3+ years’ experience bartending in a fast-paced, high-volume facility that serves cocktails, wine and beer.

Responsibilities
