About The Position

The Bartender is responsible for taking and filling food orders, maintaining a clean and organized dining and bar area, and preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes. This role involves continuous pre-busing of the bar, adhering to health and safety regulations, and managing inventory of liquor and supplies. The Bartender must also be knowledgeable of gaming and beverage regulations, monitor guest alcohol consumption, and ensure all transactions are accurately entered into the POS system. Additionally, the position requires handling payments, verifying legal age for alcohol service, answering guest questions, and assisting with responsible alcohol consumption guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of two years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Takes and fills all food orders and assists in maintaining guests dining areas in a clean and neat fashion.
  • Performs pre-busing of the Bar area on a continuous basis keeping area free of clutter.
  • Works clean, sanitary and safe and observes all health and safety regulations.
  • Mixes and serves alcoholic beverage and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
  • Mixes and serves beverages in a service station capacity to Beverage/Food Servers in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Receives, issues, and keeps necessary records of liquor store and supplies.
  • Maintains a neat and clean bar station on a continual basis.
  • Has knowledge of all Gaming and beverage regulations.
  • Monitors guest alcohol consumption and responds accordingly.
  • Keeps sight lines neat and organized.
  • Ensures no drinks are served unless entered into POS system.
  • Receives payment from food and beverage guests/servers in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Adheres to established cash control policies and procedures.
  • Requests identification from guests when legal age is in question.
  • Answers any guest questions and directs concerns to appropriate management.
  • Assists in maintaining standards of health, safety, and sanitation.
  • Completes side work, set up or closing duties as assigned.
  • Follows all C.A.R.E. guidelines to help assist with guests’ responsible consumption.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
