About The Position

We're passionate about delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests, and we're looking for a talented and enthusiastic bartender to join our team in Meridian. As a bartender at Ling & Louie's, you will be the face of our bar, providing top-notch service to our guests. Your role will be to craft delicious cocktails, recommend drink pairings, and ensure that every guest has a memorable experience. You’ll be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and handling transactions accurately.

Requirements

Previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Engage with guests, take orders, and provide recommendations.
Ensure that all beverages are prepared according to company recipes and standards.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, equipment, and supplies.
Check identification to verify legal age requirements for alcohol service.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Assist with restocking and inventory management.
Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Uphold company policies, including responsible alcohol service.
