About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused Bartender to join their team at Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa. The Bartender is responsible for delivering memorable hospitality to guests by building genuine connections and providing engaging service from arrival to departure. This role requires understanding guest needs, preparing beverages efficiently, and maintaining a quick, engaging attitude. The Bartender will work collaboratively with other staff, handle guest concerns, present accurate bills, and manage bar inventory and preparation. Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa is a premier luxury resort on the Atlantic coastline, featuring 285 guest rooms and extensive meeting space. Requirements

  • Engaging and welcoming personality
  • Current bartenders’ certification or appropriate license
  • Knowledgeable in the latest trends around mixology
  • Descriptive and able to sell
  • 2-4 years of bartender experience
  • Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
  • Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
  • Be accurate in order taking, confirming all special requests
  • Understand bar details to enhance conversation
  • Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
  • Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy
  • Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
  • Requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits
  • Maintain stock, cut, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
  • Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control
  • Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest
  • Lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank
