About The Position
As a Bartender you will be more than just a drink maker—you will be an integral part of the guest experience. This role combines creativity, hospitality, and technical skills to deliver a memorable visit for every guest who walks through our doors. You will craft high-quality cocktails, pour wine and beer with expertise, and provide personal recommendations to enhance each guest’s dining experience. Beyond mixing drinks, you will foster a welcoming and lively atmosphere at the bar, engaging guests with genuine hospitality and professionalism. In this position, you will balance the art of mixology with the responsibilities of maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and organized workspace. You will uphold all service standards, follow safety and compliance guidelines, and take pride in representing the culture and values of Evo Kitchen + Bar. The ideal candidate is passionate about the craft of bartending, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys creating connections with guests that turn first-time visitors into loyal regulars.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or bar setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent service at the bar and tableside.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of drink menus, seasonal offerings, and featured specials.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
- Keep bar area clean, stocked, and organized throughout shifts.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible service at all times.
- Work collaboratively with servers, support staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
