Bartender
About The Position
The Bartender is responsible for becoming fully knowledgeable of professional bar service and mixology, taking and filling beverage and food orders effectively and efficiently with appropriate selling skills, upholding safety practices, completing stocking of the bar, preparing fruit and other garnishes, maintaining cleanliness of the bar, executing job duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, incorporating 5 Star, 5 Diamond guidelines, becoming knowledgeable of wine and wine presentation, and engaging in intelligent, friendly, and informative conversation with guests. This role also includes responsibilities such as closing reports and lockdown of the bar.
Requirements
- Two years customer service and F&B service experience required
- Able to use Point of Sale system
- Ability to obtain WV Food Handler’s Card
- Able to convey pleasant, % Star appropriate conversation with guest
- Able to communicate in friendly, positive way with staff
Nice To Haves
- Previous bartending and bar service experience strongly preferred
- Mixology certificate or training preferred
- Wine training preferred
- TIPS training preferred
