About The Position

La Hacienda is seeking a part-time Bartender to join their team. This role involves consistently offering professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests. The Bartender will assist guests with beverage menu inquiries, mix drinks, and manage beverage stock according to guidelines. A thorough understanding of beverage lists, promotions, specifically sugar cane spirits, and all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods is required. The position also requires adherence to outlet policies, service standards, and all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage. This role is part of a team committed to working together and providing the best guest experience.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Excellent knowledge of all beverage products
• Previous point of sale system experience an asset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
