Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of bartending experience in an upscale, full-service restaurant or bar required.
  • Exceptional knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and accuracy.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess a valid California RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and creativity.
  • Engage guests with genuine hospitality and provide beverage recommendations.
  • Maintain knowledge of current cocktail trends, house recipes, beer, wine, and spirits.
  • Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and fully stocked before, during, and after service.
  • Follow all recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
  • Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily register reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with servers and management to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
  • Comply with all state, local, and company alcohol service laws and safety procedures.
  • Assist in training new bar team members when needed.
