About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Bartender to join our team in Jacksonville Beach. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of drink preparation and a passion for providing excellent service. Responsibilities include taking orders, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to responsible service practices.

Requirements

Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service.
Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers.
Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly and argumentative patrons.
Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant.
Completion of mixology, barkeeping, or other related training required.
Must be legal drinking age or older.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Receives orders from patrons and wait staff.
Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared before the bar's opening.
Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized.
Attractively displays glasses and liquor bottles.
Keeps bar stocked.
Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
Collects money from customers for drinks prepared and served.
Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.
Submits orders or creates requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies.
Other duties as assigned.
