We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our team at W.A. Frost & Company, a fine dining and award-winning restaurant. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will deliver exceptional service and contribute to creating an extraordinary guest experience in a sophisticated, high-end environment. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment.
  • Expert knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wines, and beer.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail and providing excellent service.
  • A passion for hospitality and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to handle several tasks at once without compromising quality.
  • Must have a valid bartending license or certification (where applicable).
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in an award-winning or Michelin-starred restaurant.
  • Sommelier training or wine certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of craft cocktails, local spirits, and emerging trends in mixology.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and serve a variety of classic and signature cocktails with precision and attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality and consistency.
  • Provide personalized and attentive service to guests, offering expert recommendations based on preferences and menu offerings.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area. Ensure all bar equipment is in good working condition and regularly sanitized.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of wines, spirits, and cocktails. Be knowledgeable about our curated wine list, craft cocktails, and seasonal drink specials.
  • Engage with guests in a warm, welcoming, and professional manner, anticipating their needs and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
  • Accurately take drink orders and ensure quick, efficient service while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Work closely with waitstaff and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service and communicate any special guest needs or dietary restrictions.
  • Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding alcohol service, including age verification and responsible service practices.
  • Assist with inventory management, ensuring the bar is adequately stocked and ingredients are fresh. Place orders as needed in collaboration with the Bar Manager.
  • Contribute to the restaurant’s atmosphere by presenting drinks in an elegant and appealing manner, ensuring a visually captivating experience for guests.
