About The Position

The Bartender provides resort guests and servers with the highest quality, quick and efficient beverage service. Take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks. Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards. The Bartender must maintain and control a high level of guest service achieved by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service. Follow the state and city alcohol law while adhering to Four Seasons standards of service. The Bartender has a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar and ensures that all the details of service are performed properly Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order The Bartender is also required to perform additional side duties. Working knowledge of the Micros system is essential. Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.

Requirements

  • Continuous standing for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • 1-2 years experience in a luxury resort.
  • Fluent English.
  • Strong commitment to service.
  • Legal work authorization in the United States.

  • Confirms guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; checks completed orders with the guest’s original order.
