The Bartender is responsible for building guest relations throughout every shift by talking with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back. This role involves preparing drinks correctly and promptly, selling cigarettes and amenities, accurately ringing orders, taking payments, and making change. The Bartender must understand and adhere to established cash handling procedures and policies, and assist with cleaning and restocking. They will appropriately use all bar equipment and point of sale systems, and have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy regarding these limitations. Maintaining a clean and orderly work area and adhering to ethical policies are crucial. The Bartender will handle routine guest complaints and incidents, exhibiting discretion to identify situations requiring supervisory attention and seeking to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships. This position requires a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential for shift changes. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
