About The Position

The Bartender is responsible for greeting and welcoming guests, preparing and pouring drinks, providing entertainment through flair pouring, and offering information on current events, promotions, and attractions. This role also involves processing cash transactions accurately, converting cash to coin for slot machine players, and adhering to company policies and attendance guidelines. Team members are expected to follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, participate in meetings and pre-shift sessions, and work collaboratively with co-workers. The position requires the ability to communicate in English, respond to visual and aural cues, and maintain a professional appearance. A varied schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime may be required, along with performing other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

  • Greets and welcomes all guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Prepares and pours all types of drinks for customers and cocktail servers upon request in a timely manner.
  • Provides entertainment for guests through entertainment/flair pouring.
  • Provides to customers property information on current events, promotions and attractions.
  • Processes all cash transactions by accepting money and making necessary change accurately and presents customer with bar receipt.
  • Converts cash to coin for any customer playing the slot machines in the bar area.
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to departmental and company policies.
  • Works a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Works a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
  • Follows the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy.
  • Participates in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
