About The Position

The Bartender mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests of the bars and/or restaurants and provides a pleasant and entertaining atmosphere for our guests.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Non-Gaming card, Alcohol Awareness Card, and Clark County Health Card required.

Nice To Haves

Experience bartending in a casino or similar hospitality environment preferred.
Micros or similar POS software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepares order requests from guests or Cocktail Servers.
Upsells liquor, suggestive selling specialty and house cocktails, beers and wines.
Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
Serves wine and draft or bottled beer.
Comps player drinks in accordance with house rules.
Stocks bar with necessary items.
Keeps apprised of current specialty drinks, trends, new liquors, beers and wines on property.
Requests identification from guests when legal age is questioned.
Ensures station is cleaned and sanitized.
Understands and follows all Southern Nevada Health District Regulations.
Other related duties as assigned.
