About The Position

Revel is looking for an experienced Bartender to join their team. Revel is located adjacent to the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Downtown. This position requires open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays. Your role as a Bartender at Revel is extremely important to our success. You will be responsible for crafting and serving a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes. Your expertise in mixology, craft cocktails and attention to detail will contribute to creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for our guests. You must be efficient to successfully complete your tasks. Work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, guest first environment and provide a polished bar/dining experience to every guest. Demonstrate genuine hospitality while greeting and establishing an energetic, interactive & friendly upscale atmosphere. Wine and craft cocktail knowledge is a requirement.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a reputable establishment.
In-depth knowledge of spirits, wines, and beers.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Nice To Haves

Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS certification) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend suitable drinks.
Provide excellent customer service by being knowledgeable, approachable, and attentive.
Ensure we deliver a guest first mentality by interacting with the guests to create an enjoyable, memorable experience.
Efficiently manage the bar area, including stocking and organizing ingredients, utensils, and glassware.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Ensure compliance with local and state alcohol regulations.
Responsible service of alcohol, including monitoring patrons for signs of intoxication.
Demonstrate advanced mixology techniques, including muddling, shaking, stirring, and layering.
Keep abreast of new ingredients and technologies in the beverage industry.
Continuously refine and improve mixology skills through training and self-development.
