About The Position

This is a part-time Bartender position. The essential job functions include greeting guests courteously, reciting beverage selections, mixing and presenting drinks according to standard recipes, and managing transactions through the register. The role also involves maintaining bar readiness for the next shift, selling tokens for gaming machines, ensuring guest area cleanliness, and adhering to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations regarding service to minors and intoxicated guests. A key aspect of the role is providing service that reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation, and Recognition (S.T.A.R.). Additionally, employees are responsible for reporting any internal control or state regulation violations related to gaming activity to the on-site IGC Agent, Security, and Supervisor on Duty, in accordance with the company's Self-Reporting Policy. Miscellaneous duties may be assigned, and the position may be a dual rate with another F&B position.

Requirements

Previous bartending in a high volume setting preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Able to understand and comply with Company and departmental rules and regulations.
Indiana Gaming Commission Occupational License - Level 3
Indiana Alcohol Beverage permit.
Obtain/maintain company alcohol awareness certification.

Responsibilities

Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
Recite complete list of beverage selections.
Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
Input and control ordering through register during each transaction maintaining accountability as well as receipts to guests for all beverages served.
Frequently check back with and entertain guests.
Prepare bar for next shift, bringing all fruit and supply levels back to par.
Sell tokens for gaming machines.
Maintain cleanliness of guest areas at all times to include removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtrays.
Abide by all State, Federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to alcoholic beverage service to minors and potentially intoxicated guests.
Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.).
Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
May be assigned as a dual rate with another F&B position.
