About The Position

Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of bar by performing the following duties. Takes drink orders from customers and/or servers, mixes and serves drinks according to order specifications, and serves wine and draught or bottled beer. Performs general cashier duties for the sale of bar food and beverage orders. Requisitions for beer, wine, liquor and bar supplies. Arranges bottles and glasses to make an attractive display, prepares drink garnishments, and replenishes bar supplies as needed. Maintains cleanliness of the bar area and sets up, breaks down, or secures the bar display when opening and closing. Serves patrons in compliance with company, brand, and TABC requirements.

Requirements

• Less than a high school education; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current Food Handler’s certificate or ServSafe certification is required.
• Current TABC (TX) or RVSP (LA) is required.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Knowledge of Inventory software.
