Requirements
- A basic knowledge of wine
- Basic knowledge of menu items including preparation techniques, ingredients and liquor drinks
- Attendance of all menus, service, and wine classes
- Cash handling or register experience
- Computer experience and/or willingness to learn
- Ability to concentrate on tasks at hand
- Able to function and multi-task in a face paced environment
- Heavy lifting to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by meeting and exceeding guests’ needs
- Make drinks for customers
- Maintain cleanliness of bar and restaurant
- Assist other members of restaurant team
- Complete all side work tasks including but not limited to stocking and cleaning
- A firm understanding of high-volume restaurants
- Able to identify menu items
- Operate cash register and computers to record all transactions
- Able to work well in a stressful and fast-paced work environment, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
