About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Lemon Bar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining bar supplies, preparing requisitions, and possessing comprehensive knowledge of liquors, drink recipes, pricing, and proper glassware. You will also be responsible for accurate cash handling, including using the MICROS system, and ensuring guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and resolving complaints. Formal training on liquor liability is required within 30 days of employment and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar supplies, including preparation of daily requisitions.
• Be completely familiar with all different kinds of liquor, recipes, and prices of drinks.
• Know proper glassware used for each recipe, as well as garnishes needed.
• Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures, including proper discounting, MICROS system (or registers), bank procedures, and tip policies.
• Accurately charge guests for drinks and ensure accurate intake of all monies.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction in each interaction.
• Be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter.
