About The Position

The Aloft Seattle Sea-Tac Airport is looking to hire a Bartender. This role is responsible for preparing and providing food and beverages, including beer, wine, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The position involves greeting, engaging, and serving guests at the bar, as well as clearing and cleaning tables, wiping spills, and keeping the bar area clean and stocked. The Bartender will also restock items, assist other staff with beverage orders, and respond to guest requests and complaints.

Requirements

  • Must have a current food handlers permit.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to work weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous restaurant service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and providing food and beverages, beer, wine, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Pouring and serving beer and wine.
  • Following safe food handling and service practices at all times.
  • Greeting, engaging, and serving guests seated at the bar.
  • Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated.
  • Wiping up spills.
  • Keeping the bar area cleaned and well stocked.
  • Restocking items consistently throughout shift.
  • Assisting server and other Front of House staff with beverage orders.
  • Listening and responding to guests' requests and complaints.
