Requirements

  • A minimum of a year’s experience in culinary with basic knowledge of bar experience required.
  • Demonstrate proficiency and effectiveness in verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, time management and ability to handle high volume multiple projects.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares alcoholic & non alcoholic beverages some pre-set meals according to daily/weekly menus.
  • Assists under the direction of the Geneal Manager.
  • Follows proper receiving procedures.
  • Assists in maintaining bar supplies, food, and supplies to ensure timely availability.
  • Maintains inventory records and control.
  • Minimizes food waste by adhering to menu standards.
  • Collaborate with the team on budget and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Keeps food and beverage service supplies operating efficiently by enforcing adherence to operating instructions.
  • Demonstrates professional behavior and teamwork with staff, vendors, customers, and agency colleagues.
  • Maintains safe, secure, legal and healthy work environment by following and enforcing sanitation and quality of food preparation and service standards and procedures.
  • Ensures sanitation of the kitchen and all service areas.
  • Stays informed on emerging food and service practices.
  • Participates in training and development opportunities.
  • Conduct inventory, maintain station, as well as maintain safety and sanitation of kitchen.
