About The Position

The Tabby House Brewing Company is seeking a Bartender/Mixologist to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons. This role requires a commitment to providing exemplary service, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and ensuring compliance with all liquor laws and health regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a positive and memorable guest experience.

  • Inclusive of professional email and phone etiquette.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • At least 2 years as a Bartender/Mixologist.
  • Clear speaking voice

  • Keep the bar stocked and clean.

  • A relevant training certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
  • Attend to the detail and presentation of each order.
  • Adhere to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintain appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.
  • Coordinate daily supply inventory for bar and submit orders to supervisor; assist with receipt of deliveries.
  • Complete cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules, including dishwashing as needed.
  • Interact with customers, take orders, and serve menu items and drinks.
  • Plan and present bar menu.
  • Ensure compliance with all local liquor laws, and health and sanitation regulations.
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age.
  • Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits.
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
  • Other tasks or duties as assigned.
