This role involves a dual responsibility of serving as a bartender and working at the front desk. As a bartender, you will be responsible for maintaining bar supplies, preparing requisitions, knowing all liquor types, drink recipes, prices, glassware, and garnishes. You will also handle accurate cash handling procedures, including using the MICROS system, managing bank procedures, and adhering to tip policies. A key aspect of this role is anticipating guest needs, responding promptly, acknowledging all guests, and maintaining positive guest relations. You will also be responsible for resolving guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction. Formal training on liquor liability is required within 30 days of employment and every two years thereafter. At the front desk, you will answer phones, check guests in and out, handle service recovery, and assist with guest requests.
