Stella’s is looking for amazing Baristas to join their proposed new Kevin's Bistro and Stella's Cafe Team! Kevin's Bistro is opening soon at 1100 Corydon Avenue. Requirements

Manitoba Smart Choices certificate
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the team and guests. This includes verbal and written communication and active listening to understand and respond to instructions and requests
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
Strong attention to detail and drink presentation
Demonstrate a strong ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts including days and evenings. Weekends are mandatory.

Nice To Haves

Previous barista or café experience is an asset, but training will be provided

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, teas, smoothies, and other specialty beverages
Make all non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages according to Stella’s specifications, maintaining production expediency and quality
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and surrounding area
Provide friendly, accurate, and efficient service to all guests
Answer incoming phone calls politely and professionally, providing information about menu items and hours of operation.
Communicate with Front of House and Back of House staff to ensure smooth service
Follow all Stella’s protocol in taking, packaging, checking and processing payments for Door-Dash and take-out orders to ensure accuracy and quality
Ensure all items served are entered into the POS System prior to producing them and ensure all payment transactions are accounted for
Keep supplies stocked and communicate low inventory to management
Perform cleaning duties associated with barista station
Adhere to Manitoba Food Safe requirements
Provide support to the Front of House team
