About The Position
The Barista position is located at the Burnet Campus in the Food Services department. This is a part-time, regular position with weekly hours of 28 and an FTE of 0.7. Shifts will be scheduled between 6 AM and 7 PM, including a mandatory every other weekend and every other holiday rotation. The starting pay range is $17.80 - $21.51, based on experience, skills, and equity. Additional pay and benefits may apply.
Requirements
- 1-2 years Barista experience or equivalent

- High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve Starbucks beverages and food items according to recipes and standards
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Operate the POS system and process transactions accurately
- Stock and replenish food, beverage, and retail items
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
- Monitor product quality and follow food safety guidelines
- Support team operations and assist with other duties as assigned
