Every cup we serve tells a story. We partner with roasters and farmers around the world to source traceable coffees that highlight the care, craftsmanship, and passion behind every bean. We believe great coffee starts at the farm and continues through every step of the journey until it reaches our guests. The Barista contributes to the success of 7 Corners Coffee by preparing high-quality coffee, espresso, specialty beverages, and food items while delivering exceptional customer service. In keeping with our mission of exceeding customer expectations, the Barista helps create a welcoming atmosphere that fosters community and enhances each guest's faith-life experience. We are currently seeking an On-Call Barista to join our team for approximately 10–14 hours per week. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a flexible schedule, is passionate about specialty coffee, and is excited to serve coffee with kindness.
Requirements
- Barista experience in a retail or restaurant environment 1 year required
- Knowledge, skill and ability working with high quality espresso machines and equipment and the products they create
- Familiar with all aspects of coffeehouse operations in addition to barista including back bar, register, foodservice and steward
- Ability to learn quickly
- Effective oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to build relationships

- Executes store operations during scheduled shifts
- Follows operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, food safety and security
- Follows all cash management and cash register policies and ensures proper cash management practices are followed
- Subscribe to and affirm the Statement of Faith and Covenant of Wooddale Church
