About The Position

You are the excitement factor in the Fireside Café & Lounge. You have a passion for great food and coffees, and it shows in your job as well as your life. You will provide high quality customer service to all guests in a speedy, professional and efficient manner. This position requires shift work and is a seasonal position.

Requirements

Secondary Education Diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills
Previous experience in a guest service related job
B.C. Serving it Right Certificate.
Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours and carry 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Barista and restaurant service is an asset.

Responsibilities

Deliver a positive attitude to all guests while generating a feeling of being in the friendliest atmosphere on the planet.
Become proficient in creating all of coffee based products and in-house recipes.
Work in a high-paced environment while performing multiple tasks.
Perform daily outside building walks and ensure the entrance to the deli is always impressive.
Perform side work, daily and weekly duties before, during and after your shift.
Assist in the restaurant as needed.
Work in a speedy fashion while delivering great customer service.
Participate in creating a team environment and use animation and incentive programs to provide a fun atmosphere for employees and guests.
Ensure all patrons are of the legal drinking age by requesting and inspecting identification.
Serve tables and have a desire to learn.
Ensure personal hygiene and maintain a clean, crisp and professional appearance.
